California, as a part of historical Aztlan, is culturally an occupied territory with an extremely different culture than the rest of the United States. The fact that they allow undocumented immigrants to vote, unlike most other states in the union, can explain the majority of that 3.4 million.
RTFA, they clearly state that they have open stats for just about every app that runs in Windows. And that the statistics indicate CMD is equivalent in importance to Edge.
Why should they invest in seawall technology when the predicted increase is now only in centimeters per century? Or haven't you gotten the latest updates to the model yet?
A more complete history of the planet suggests than 400ppm CO2 is actually quite close to the mean still. Talk to me about cutting back when we reach 800ppm and need a machette to get to the car after a day of work.
All of mankind's greenhouse gas emissions combined are now, post 2004 tipping point, completely minuscule compared to what is released by melting tundra. We're already fucked up past any point of coming back- so it's time to ADAPT to changing conditions instead of trying to stick a finger in the bolt hole while the dam crumbles around you.
"Once you accept that the greenhouse effect is real - and grade school children have been showing this at science fairs, and greenhouse owners have proven it for years, it doesn't take an Einstein to figure out that taking the Carbon that was removed from the atmosphere and putting it back in the atmosphere is going to have some effect."
The greenhouse effect is correlation, not cause. Raise the temperature and CO2 will go up. Raise the CO2 and temperature will go up.
If you truly believed in the greenhouse effect, you'd move out of the city and become a farmer- sucking Carbon out of the atmosphere and storing it in plant material.
The argument was about the technical difference between native applications and browser based Javascript VM. Has nothing to do with the economic or sociological aspects of the problem.
You recompile native for each operating system, and in fact, for each CPU. Any given native bare metal program is going to always beat stuff running behind the hardware abstraction layer- behind a virtual machine.
Accurately maybe. Strictly? I'm strict about it to the point of practicing the martial art of antitrafic (when in a jam, slow down to 5mph below average speed, to build a space in front of you and avoid stop-and-go starts). I wish more people knew about it, there would be far fewer accidents and we'd all get where we need to go faster.
I'd rather have a subscription system with a institution-to-institution payments network and HSA style high deductible catastrophic insurance.
If you are home, you go to the doctor, clinic, and hospital that you have a monthly subscription with.
If you are away from home, or in an emergency situation, you go anywhere, and the doctor, clinic, or hospital that you have a monthly subscription with gets billed.
We're not going to get that out of Republicans or Democrats, I fear.
Except for maybe Hong Kong, I'd suggest that the researcher's data skews towards people who abuse LSD.
And in their Harvey Birdman Interpretation, Scooby Doo and Shaggy were not exactly worried about massive CO2 emissions.
None of that says *anything* about the complete supposition that all the CO2 comes from manmade sources.

Not to mention that Hillary Clinton used the CIA to influence the 2011 Russian elections against Putin's party. This is just payback in kind.
Just to start an argument- Windows is more accurate than most climate models.

Thank you, I did not know that essay was online. I'll be sure to link to it the next time somebody claims their model is accurate.
Depends on the crop. Some weeds sequester more carbon than others. Some crops are not consumed, but end up as building material.
The point is more that no model is accurate- ever. NONE of our scientific models are accurate with respect to reality, certainly not climateology.

Apple is Homosexual Tech. They're #2 because of that alone. And Google doesn't send back every single opening of an apk, just every reboot.
3 is incorrect. Mankind is not the only source of burning fossil fuels.

Yep, but that comic now needs to be revised using the new dataset.
Which are the "corrected" numbers to match observation, because no climate model yet devised fits the observed data.
What made you think that they weren't? The ridiculous amount of phoning home data from Windows 10 is what killed the Windows phone.
Absolutely true. Well tuned assembly will always beat C++; just as C++ will always beat virtual machines and runtimes.
And lusers will only ever see the features they care about and the user interface, which is why virtual machines and runtimes exist.

Who said anything about being a small developer?

I thought typewriters had done away with curly quotes some time ago.

If you take away the undocumented immigrants who are allowed by state law to vote in California, and the absentee ballots filed by the dead, she lost
