That doesn't sound like the DriveSavers I've used...They charged me $200 when they couldn't get it back, but still gave me the DVDs that had a least some of my emails. Overall a very good experience.
Maybe it's because I'm over 40, but I can't believe some of the posts here. What is ever free?? Nothing!! You pay for what you get in every aspect of your life. Apple Computer is a company created to make money. Who cares if they charge for an upgrade. If you don't want to pay for the upgrade continue using whatever version you have and quit whining.
Do you really expect any company in this economy not to charge for an upgrade? Frankly paying out $50 or whatever the cost is doesn't seem like too much to ask. I'm grateful I was able to use the versions of the programs for free to begin with.
