  1. Not surprised really on Pope To Resign Citing Advanced Age · · Score: 1

With the new Star Wars movie coming out, he probably didn't want all the references to him being the Sith Lord popping up again.

Quick correction, that's gigapixel, not megapixel. Some quick math says you'd need 375 images taken with the new sensor to make that image.

  3. Noise/Light Sensitivity/Optics on Canon Unveils 120-Megapixel Camera Sensor · · Score: 5, Insightful

I'm just curious what this would be like in low light settings, cramming that many pixels into such a small space has got to have some effect on sensitivity.

So uhh, what was the 300MB+ item in Windows Updates this morning that I installed? I'm sure it said service pack 2.

Something I've noticed at work is that newer members of the IT department are far more willing to document than longer standing ones. Part of our bonus review at work was keeping the documentation up to date and everyone hated how we were doing it so I set up MediaWiki in my own time and migrated data into it. The old standing staff (apart from me) are very negative about a new way of documenting (not that they were positive about the old way) but the newer staff who "don't have as much knowledge to lose" jumped at it and whenever they learn something new will put it up in the wiki.

There is a good reason for this, deaths related to trolling are never an accident.
