Actually, gravity is merely a manifestation of the curvature of space-time (if we believe Einstein), so it is not "created" in this sense. It is "caused" (this is bad terminoligy) by the mass concentration of every piece of matter. So, yes the pen "attracts" you (meaning, that it curves space time, but not enough so that you are drawn to the curvature. Actually, you "attract" the pen far more than it "attracts" you (you have a much greater mass)
Actually, you are completely mistaken. When you "buy" software in a store, or online, etc., etc., you are not buying that program. You are purchasing a license to use that program. At no time does a software company give up a shred of ownership of that program. Thus, you have no rights that are not explicitly stated in the license agreement that you agree to when you buy the software (before you can read the license agreement, but that's another story)
Did you read the article? He's still gonna leave $10 million for each of them! The VAST, VAST majority of people never even come close to having that much money throughout their entire lives. I think his kids will be okay . . .
Actually you are completely wrong. Yahoo! does not own the postings of its users. There was a/. argument about this a couple weeks ago. It merely states that it has the right to use anything you post on it if it feels like it. You still own it (and are thus responsible for it), but you grant an unlimited license to Yahoo! for usage.
First of all you are incorrect in stating that "with a little bit of wordplay you could say Yahoo owns the content to kiddie-porn on such site and warez on another...." This is not true. They never claim to own or take responsibility for anything on their webpages. Quite the opposite actually. They explicitly state that they DO NOT own or take responsibility for ANYTHING. They simply state that if they so desire or if they feel that it is beneficial to do so, they can sell, license, alter, reproduce, or do anything else to the content of the pages that they want. While this is not exactly moral and ethical there is nothing ILLEGAL whatsoever about this agreement. And I also object to your ignorant rantings about lawyers. As a student well on my way towards a career in IP Law, I would take offense at your comments if their absurdity did not so obviously illustrate you as a an ignoramus. Have a nice day;-)

You are incorrect. The Athlon 500 shipped at less than $350, whereas the same speed PIII is about $450. And the athlon is supposed to be better than a PIII at the same clock speed! There is no reason left to go Intel whatsoever. . .
well, I'm sorry to inform you, but that precise thing has happened twice already in our history, 1876 and 1888. So go ahead and throw that fit.
Actually, it has happened twice, once in 1876, and again in 1888. Sorry.
