The largest ISP in Portugal who detains the largest portal (SAPO) developped (along with the Psi team, like Justin Karneges, one of Psi creators) the SAPO Messenger it's own IM back in 2004 with the same features plus, SMS and VOIP to land lines and mobiles, gateway to MSN,ICQ etc... so I don't the understand where from came the idea the Russia is such an enterpreneur country.
My Vote too. I use OCS and GLPI to make Inventory and Trouble Ticketing (I also use RT for this one too, but I am evaluating the chance to have only one software for it). Regarding OCS having a few glitches in some windows clients (beats me why it "grabs" all processing power to it), you can make your domain logon script force the inventory of all computers in your network. With GLPI you can even connect each MAC address to a Switch port (by hand of course), nonetheless...it's a Dynamic Duo !
Microsoft is trying to narrow the possibilities of purchase of security (anti-virus in this case) software that work in (beloved and stable) Linux platforms. I use RAV for almost 3 years in my gateway, of course that I had to switch... now I use Bitdefender...Will Vexira or other come next?
