    I went to Netcraft's site and this was the response back from a request to Hotmail.

    www.hotmail.com is running Apache/1.3.6 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.8 SSLeay/0.9.0b on Windows 2000

    I am not one to jump to conclusions but something strange seems to be going on (or is it just me). Unix version of Apache on Windows 2000????

    Conspiracy theorists will have a field day with this one.

    And the original owner should be something like corinthians.bible.org. We all know that domains are used improperly. However judging who should get the domain, I would vote for the soccer team.

    Well I think everyone is forgetting that the guy was using a .com in a non-commercial way and thus, in my opinion, should have lost the use of the domain by a company wanting to do business using their name. Makes sense to me. On another note, soccer is a religion to me so I think the domain will be equally blessed. :)

    I think .gnu is a little too specific. I would prefer a .dev for development effort. This way it may correspond to any type of development effort. Though I do see how this can be a problem. I would hate to see everything going to the .gnu/.lnx/.bsd/.dot route. Though the last would be cool if for no other reason.
