As a multimedia developer, the availability of an advanced tool to create SVG files, as well as the less-than-widespread adoption of the SVG standard, is stopping me presently from devoting any serious amount of time to this initiative.
It won't be awhile before developers will invest in SVG development exclusively when you can easily publish in SWF.
