I knew exactly 1 person in college with a Mac (circa 1990ish). Everyone else had PCs. Common use? Only for people who had extra money to throw at computers.
Please tell me you're not suggesting Mac was first and foremost. I imagine if MS needed to decompile they had a large host of other players to pick from.
It was more of a rhetorical question in response to the previous poster. Really I think a large number of the folks who suggest all information should be free would not consider publishing all of their emails, medical records, any criminal history, SMS, etc...
I don't agree at all. Most people I know that use Blackberries or Androids run a minimum of apps at a time, realizing that the device has limitations.
I use all three (switch SIM cards in and out... I write mobile software). I really hate Apples "multi-tasking" which is far from it, and get tired of the app I'm switching back to having to load up each time. I also hate that lists are really paged and I have to wait for the next group to load.
Blackberry still has some awful memory leaks and the UI still leaves a lot to be desired. Their devices still lack the resources to compete with most Androids and the iPhone.
Android certainly has it's faults for the average user, but I don't see the users I know running 42 apps at a time on theirs.
Who said anything about government employees? I mean people who actually hear words out of his mouth, or see his writing. So far that is exactly zero people.
It would be nice if those that point to the crosshairs map also mention the DLC put out a similar one in 2004, only it had bullseyes instead of crosshairs (honestly, if one more person calls it gunsights I may jump out of a window).
It's likely this guy was pushed over the edge by something he heard/watched, but at this point it's all speculation, and I'm very irritated by the media talking about it as if it were fact.
I tend to think the way you do... I've voted for three different parties and independents in the past. I'm fairly libertarian though, so I usually start with those candidates. It's as if all of the parties try to put up their worst possible candidate just to see what happens.
George Barris did some really amazing work, including the 66 Batmobile, the Munster's coach, and a huge list of other slick creations. In the 60's he had a car driven by a joystick in the center console.
Please don't join the media in speculating anything about this guy. Right now all that's known is he's off balance at the very least, had issues with currency policy, and agreed with the second constitution group.
Nobody knows whether or not he listened to any particular radio shows, was a fan of Palin or even saw the map.
Please stop assigning thoughts to this guy before qualified people actually find out.
My only complaint about my Android is having to install a task killer. Sometimes I hit it and find it's killed a number of apps that aren't in the ignore list. So I suppose the real complaint is apps randomly starting themselves, with no apparent way to prevent that.
I'm still on 2.1 though, maybe this is solved in 2.2 or 2.3?
Sorry, was just going by my business partner's word... he's on Verizon. I misunderstood though. After verifying, Verizon's 3G will stay unlimited, but LTE will be laddered.
Except it's actually called "Market" on Android.
I'm pretty sure toilet store was a reference to Anchorman.

orly? Single Action Shooting Society
I'll second that, especially with regard to "at concerts" or at least directly from the artists website.
The same thing that happened to objective journalism... it went *poof*.
The same thing we did with blacksmiths, cart makers, whale fishermen, tallow makers, court jesters, lectors, elevator operators, etc...
This one is a start. There are some links you can follow from there as well.

Different from what... from attorneys pleading their case in the court of public opinion? I don't see the correlation.

I've read how those conversations went and what those editors think of him... his ego seems to be getting in the way of better judgement.

Check out his site... pretty fun stuff there.
Hell, I pay people to do that to me!

I wonder if anonymous would continue to support him if he released all of their names...
You must've forgotten that, at the end of the day, Obama is a politician.
Of course his attorneys are doing whatever they can to prevent him shipping out. Is this news?
Wow, just weird. Not only do I not have those problems, I've not seen anything from Samsung regarding updates, outside of Froyo or Gingerbread.

And forced to date Rosie O'Donnell.
