This isn't Active Desktop. This is OpenDoc for OS X. Anyone remember OpenDoc from System 8? Seemed like a great idea at the time, but Apple implemented it fairly poorly. If Konfabulator had things like word processors, image viewers/editors, web browsers, etc, etc, it'd be great. OpenDoc was meant to be an integrated part of the operating system that did almost all the things you generally need your computer for, and then other people would sell the BIG programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Avid, After Effects, and other big productivity software. OpenDoc would take care of your viewing of text files and JPEGs and 3DMF. I wonder if there's a page up anywhere about OpenDoc anymore....

~97% and climbing? Heh. Does Bill Gates feed you opium for breakfast EVERY day, or just on Fridays? Just curious, since if you'll actually check the stats, the market share for Windows is going the OPPOSITE direction. Why else would Billy Boy be quaking in his boots so much that he's now starting ANOTHER attempt at a Windows Switcher campaign. Wonder where they're going to get their stock footage from? Better, yet, who's the poor marketing schmuck who'll have to voice-over with lies what the person is actually saying.;-)
