As the author of the bill, I just wanted to point out that I realize the bill isn't perfect. Since we can only legislate within the US, that's all I can do for now.

However, I wanted to point out a very important provision that will hopefully aid in reducing spam, and that is the matter of the fines and bounty. I realize that tracking down spammers is going to be very difficult. That's why I put the bounty in - to attract you people who have (hopefully) the capability to track them down for the FCC. If you do, and the FCC successfully collects the fine, you get a cut. Maybe we can actually put some power in the hands of all you spam vigilantes... =)
