This could really put the price of hardware up--the manufacturers charge (no pun intended) such amazingly high prices for replacement chargers...

When I tried to get a replacement charger for an old Compaq laptop I picked up I found out where their margins really are... 80 quid they wanted for a charger. A replacement battery was about the same.
Oh man, my PS2 is creaking with age already. If they want to wait so long, maybe they should have made the PS2 with some better quality components... I think I got one of the duff batch (now recalled), but who keeps receipts for such toys? I should'da listened to my Ma...
If they are really serious now about waiting that long, we'll could end up with a rushed product after an earlier release of the next MS console. Ho Hum.
