I did a small amount (2 minutes worth) of research on your behalf, and came up with this.
Basically, in summary, employers can refuse to hire you for any stated reason that does not pertain to age, sex, race, or religion (disliking a person is a legally valid reason to not hire that person) -- and there is no legal protection against an employer using your credit history against you. You are entitled to a free copy of the report they obtain as well as the name, telephone number, and address of the credit agency that provided the report, but the only right you have outside of that is to try to correct any errors in your report.
