Why is it that MS takes on the look of a bully crying because he broke his hand beating someone's face in? Why do we put up with this attitude.
I remember, MS saying their Win95 had the look or feel of OS2, but we found it crashed hourly. In fact Win95 runs best turned off. As far as workstations, Win95 was and is far from the world of use.
Attitude makes or breaks us. Why is it that we take the general MS attitude, 'everyone is dumb', and not think anything of it?
With large and small networks there is a desire to preconfigure a 'setup.exe' to a network and the users. This is a headache in the MS world.
Why can't they listen to the users and do their best to please? If they would do this, they would not have to worry about anyone else. I remember college, what rises to the top is scum and cream, but the scum is on top of the cream.
Funny thing, many computer jockeys are sold on the MS world, until a network administrator sits down with them and explains a week of crashing servers, loading of new software and configure time at each workstation, and continuing virus and bug problems. Many programmers do not know that their is a better OS for less.
