And 0.001% will argue that Nvidia is a well run company with a solid profit margin and good management and ATI is still unprofitable with lot less cash in the bank, and therefore more likely to perish in any upcoming storms/wars. But people on/. always root for the underdog.
Cg runs with ATI products as well. It is an attempt to make it easier to program graphics for high end GPU's. Fortunately, nvidia dominates this market (at least in terms of having a solid business with top notch products) which is beneficial to them.

What are you talking about? The GeForce FX is much different than the GeForce 4, specifically in the way it processes fragments. It also has a much higher transistor count.
...that maybe they had their microscope slides upside down and what appears to be left-handed is really right (or wrong in this case)??????????????? Really just a matter of perspective.

This effect has already been created years ago with DirectFB. Nothing new to see here....move along.
