You have a vaild arugement but the truth is Mirosoft would of never done this with out things like Mozilla, Oprea or Safari. Look on the bright side is a very nice thing for Mirosoft to do becuse the benfits are going to be massive. for web desingers there is going to be actual CSS and PNG support and sence its going to be the number one browser (if pepole up grade) web bages are going to look nicer. plus there will be less viruses though thoughs nasty holes in IE, and maybe even cross browser support!

Its quite annoying when pepole that don't use Gnome attack Gnome over something they dont like when attacking it is only going to make others angry and dosen't do anything useful.
Then there is this idea if Gnome is more Popuplar it is is some how better more justified and right. When did popularty have anything to do with the qualty of something? There is a old Roman proverb that says whats popular isnt right and whats right and what right isnt allways popular. It dosent matter if everyone I know uses Gnome it still dosent change a damn thing.
Plus its a good thing when pepole hate/dont know how your computer works becuse it keeps them off of it. hehe
a long time ago i think i was useing mozilla 1.3 alpha and i was going around lots odd forums and one led to another untill i got to a forum that had an ad that was large enoff to cover lots of the page but you could still see something like 10 words of the actual page. in smallsh print the ad said something like 'this page has found you use a pop up blocker or have disabled javascript plese disable your pop up blocker and enable javascript in order to take this ad away and to show the content below.' I think the ad was for some free computer thing that just gets your email and spams you to death

they once did a network traffic tests and it was something like 76% was aim/icq (though i doubt icq) yim or msn. 4% online games (program games not web based). and around 20% web browsing. no were near surprising to me.

but i dont aggree with some of his points he has in "How To Become A Hacker" like the not useing " Don't use a silly, grandiose user ID or screen name." IDs are away to show its a one person. but that is just my opion
