Anyone remeber that magic electric DeLorean that was on/. a while ago? Ran forever on just one charge. Mabye those guys are working on hydrogen cars now.
I figure that is why some companies call it a notebook and not a laptop. If someone can sue over the coffee being too hot at McDonald's, then I'm sure they might have a case when there "Laptop" burns their leg.
One big reason that musicians get screwed on record deals is because there is no shortage of good bands out there. Pretty much everyone knows a killer guitar player or song writer and probably have more then one on their block. The distribution channel and mediums for discovery are so limited that only a select few are allowed to take advantage of them. Thanks to the monopoly of the airwaves much of the talent in the world goes unnoticed. Don't let your taste in music be dictated by corporate greed.
The big problem I've come across is that there are too many configuration apps. I'd like to see everything become more centralized. Things can also get very confusing when you install more then one desktop because the configuration apps from each desktop are often visible in all of them.
Gates has been known to attack interviewers in the past. In recent years he has been trying to clean up his image a bit and not seem like the huge ass hole that he really is. I think Gates is so insulated from the real world that he suffers from Michael Jackson syndrome, where he is able to create his own reality. When he is confronted with the truth he becomes defensive.
