As the article points out, this probably won't be economic; however, how much would it cost to build one of these plants? I would think a lot considering all of the hydraulics and heating involved.
It is a bit vague on who could call, I really don't want charities, political organizations or other stuff not technically defined as "telemarketers"calling me everywhere on my cellphone that would be quite annoying.
Do any of the textbook publishing companies release their 1000 page books on CD so that the poor kids don't have back injuries?
Also don't you think that there will be problems with students defacing their computer? I certainly know that I have gotten some really defaced books in the past.
