IMO Metroid Prime will also help the hardware-sales in Europe. It will also help to convince some people that Nintendo isn't only making games for 10 year olds;-)
The Benchmarks I have seen showed MySQL to be faster than Pg but not that stable on high load... But those Benchmarks where quite old and I don't even have any links to them anymore, so...:-)

Right decision ;-) The interactive part wasn't worth the pricing difference to a DVD :-P
