For HTTPS traffic regarding explicitly "private communications" under current law it is illegal, and certainly banks or any company transmitting reserved information will react badly. Nokia is taking full legal responsibility for acting willfully and WITHOUT explicit customer's consent/disclosure of their actions... translated I smell COLOSSAL lawsuit areas here....
exactly what europe (small e intended) is doomed to... brainless bureaucracy that entangles any and all innovation in the name of vested interests. If the powers that be do not reverse this horseshit thinking we are doomed to law regulated, asphyxiating bureaucratic thinking that will doom any chances of future growth .
I have a BAD OMEN, like he's gonna get trapped down there and die and stuff and after one hundred years someone is gonna find his frozen body and revive him and hessgonna be facing a brand new world overrun by replicants and stuff and....o shit wait ! I have been using Youtube too much !!!!!
vodafone just launched a Android tablet and smartphone multiscreen extension ofr their cheap dvbt set top box and telecom as well as wind are well on their way to extend their offering with similar tablet centric apps
WHOWEE ! THRE MUST BE SOME NEW DRUG DEALER IN TOWN !
What about reintroducing steam powered SUV or maybe polymer enhanced clay tablets anyone !!!... ex OS/2 developer, circa 1990...
I have never seen a real ! major COTS "customization" project either:
1. be on time for delivery
2. cost what the "big name firm" analysts said it would
3. be actually doing what was advertised
4. and finally be actually stable-serviceable-extensible
at least not in 15yrs experience in designing sw for mostly for Telcos.
Generally mgmnt hides behind the "COTS=less risk" factor and at the same time COMPLETELY IGNORES the tech staff's reccomendations, generally this produces far more deployement disasters than any custom development (at least in the tlc world, especially in GSM-UMTS)
