Well, thats a point .. we do live longer than we have in the past .. obviously. However, to quote Oliver Twist "Could I have some more?" Here is the question though .. do you think that we can live "significantly" longer than we do currently? I think so. What good is that longer life when we are missing the overall quality of life that hopefully will go with it?

Well, it would be nice to actually live long enough to see someone NEW back on the moon for a change. I mean jeez ..

At the rate we are going .. I will have to be 90 .. but hey .. I plan to be a GOOD LOOKING 90 damnit!

And here people want to talk politics OVER Technology? Stem cell research is the first glimpse we humans have at a significantly longer life .. with more importantly .. the opportunity at a better quality of life. Having had family members with significantly reduced quality of life as a result of macular degeneration and loss of hearing .. its not simply a matter of living longer. We will live longer, but what good is it if we can't read, see our monitors, and even listen to a good ol mp3 along the way. Quit with the politics .. and focus on the science folks. Sure, its tough I know .. but lets let the research pan out.

This is going to make a hell of a E-Commerce Aggregation Engine. Think of it this way, http://www.pricewatch.com is basically something similar, but with the power of Google, and this first step towards a standardized Merchant Data Feed with Google helping set that standard, things could get quite interesting. Are we going to see Blogger get into the scramble here? Are we soon to see RSS/Atom feeds for product types / lines?

No kidding. Was really hoping to see more native support within Mozilla by now, but alas, it seems to be still relatively quiet on the SVG / Mozilla front.

By the time they get around to it, I am afraid the XML generated content within Flash will overcome the in some ways.

With Flash's native XML interfaces, looks like some fun with graphing coming up. Anyone have any examples of this in use yet?

This is the Visual world that is evolving. Hey, can't say it is there yes, but AO is as addictive as almost any other game, especially since it does allow that level of interaction. The issue is that people often forget that it is a game, and just that. Bitch and Moan, but they are here to stay, and there is too much $ in it to turn back. God help the movie industry when one is created using the Doom 3 engine. Looking forward to Eve.
