Subjects, not citizens. Quite a difference. Once they gave up their guns to the government, they became slaves. It is just a matter of time.

Please note that the Supreme Court has ruled on this already, the government (and the police by proxy) are in no way obligated to protect you or your property, they have gone on to note that the 2nd amendment to the constitution already allows citizens to keep and bear arms for protecton.

What we need to do is to remove the 20,000 laws that are on the books that do not deter crime at all, but that do enable the criminals to ply their trade without fear of any kind of real resistance.

There is only one right answer, and that is of course it is an individual right, not to be intefered with by the government in any way what so ever.

The question is, will either candidate defend the constitution and the People of these United States and do away with the utterly useless 20,000 gun laws already on the books that do not deter criminals at all, only criminalize otherwise lawabiding folks doing nothing but excercising their god given, constitution enumerated rights.

We don't really need the politicians to agree, but it does make it a whole lot easier to live in peace if they do.

ANyone in the gun culture already knows that we have become the "Jews of Germany in the 30's".

We have raids on peoples house for the crime of owning a fully legal, registered firearm.

We comply with stricter and stricter laws, only to find that they use the registration lists to confiscate our firearms.

We in the firearms culture already see what other segments of US society are only beggining to see, America has become a police state.

If they want your goods, they will come and take them, good luck getting them back. If they want your land, they will take it, if some podunk police department wants your car, they will confiscate it.

    Wake up already.

You asked about machine guns and silencers, I have and use both. The machine guns I own are to keep me in parity with my government. Don't get the mistaken impression that one man and a machine gun can overturn a government, but one man and a machine gun can take more machine guns and arm more men.

Silencersare one of the most useful devices when shooting, hearing protection is very important, and when shooting with a silencer, you are not damaging your hearing.

We also used them quite a bit in the Marine Corps, taking out a sentry quietly is quite an important task. Knife, silenver, it matters little, it is jsut a tool.

OF course, you do realize that your right to free speech is muzzled, because you allowed your politicians to take your guns away from you. If you kept your guns, the politicinas would not be quite so quick to trample on your basic human rights.

I don't want to seem US centric people, but all people of all nations have those same basic rigths enumerated in the US Constitution. They are not granted by that document, merley enumerated. Your god granted you the freedom of speech, that you allow a politician to take it from you is another matter.

I certainely hope that you have kept some of those firearms from confiscation, usually cutting off the head will kill the snake.
