I keep trying to explain to people, that with programming/computers/etc. there are 2309849238 ways to skin a cat.
People saying "xyz database is the best" or "xyz language is the best" Never makes sense...
99.99999% of the time, you can use ASP/PHP to do the same exact things. I can do the same things in Perl that I can do in C.
Some languages are better at some things that others. But NO LANGUAGE is a catch all for everything...
Most people do not use any of the features Microsoft SQL has or Postgres or MySQL or whatever (although I do think it is sad that MySQL does not have stored procedures yet)...
