We have the technology to do this. Its not that hard with an open source system even to make it user friendly for every one. But their are a few factors that count 1. elderly no offence but they wont like it at all!! no one likes change. 2. Its hard their are some very good hackers out their who can inturupt these systems standing in front of them or via internet connection so my idea is to have a removeable hard drive system no internet contact just mail the hard drive next day to were the votes will be counted. 3. as i stated their are alot of good hackers and programers the people who maintain and create these systems have to literly be kept in isolation to prevent any type of fraud. its not wether we have the technology. WE DO!!! its wether we can trust the people who run and create this technology.
The only reason people make viruses for microcrap programs is their such a large target that im sorry is not at all hard to exploit (excuse spelling) and desides unless ur a idiot and trying to be malitious most people only use exploits/viruseses to gain more control over their systems and take it away from microsoft. lets face it microsoft loves it when people do this 1 it puts their products right front page of the news and 2 they learn their exact weakness and apply new patches because u know that all the computers in the company use "Windows" yea my ass it had to be created by something
Cheese Not Like The United States Didn't acomplish that over 20 years ago. I think China Could Save Plenty Of Money By Just Reading The Books About it. Theirs got to be an alterior motive their launching satilites or something
