I agree, I would **REALLY** like to know the answer to this myself. In light of all these "fair use" interpretations from both sides of the fence, wouldn't making music available off the internet be analogous with broadcasting the music over the airwaves? What laws protect and allow broadcast radio to exist, but not music sharing on the internet?
No, you're not the only one seeing this. Linux on the desktop in some shape, form or fashion is inevitable. Corel is the best positioned to take advantage of it (IMHO). Damn straight I'm buying some more.
Here are the two places where I get all my map data:
Bureau of transportation statistics. Detailed data, but only down to the highway/interstate level, no residential roads.(Shapefile format)
Tiger/Line data converted into shapefiles for easy use. Down to the residential street level, very detailed!
