  2. Why not "E=MC'" squared"? on What Formula Would You Tattoo? · · Score: 1

I mean really; just because it is semi-archaic and everybody knows it, It is nevertheless very important. When one regards the history of where our current notions of reality exist, this particular equation permeates the very infrastructure of societal norms itself. Why not have a tattoo of this mind provoking equation? This equation is so basic that it begs for more elaboration and complexity. I say it's the perfect equation for a tattoo.

You forgot about the supplies that would need to be shipped in order to make these items in-house; unless they are going out back and grabbing a bunch of dirt, lol. It wouldn't really change much at all. The manufacturer simply switched from making and delivering products into making and delivering raw materials. The retail outlet has now become the maufacturer and seller.

  10. new mathematical disciplines needed on Universe's Curvature Measured? · · Score: 1

IMHO we need a new set of mathematical analyses to come to terms with the concept of describing curved space in four dimensions. Sure we have tried via the GUT's, but I think our problem is in our reliance upon three dimensional manifestations of these theories. Hence, a four-dimensional description of the universe will NEVER make sense in a 3-D world, only in a 4-D world. That is why quantumn physics defies reason. You can't take a 3-D description of the universe, render it in 4 dimensions, and then run it back through 3-D analyses without running into all sorts of problems with 0 =infinity and other conflicts of level-headed reasoning. Just my -2 cents worth.

DVD's DO NOT use blue wavelengths. They are only a smaller version of the red wavelength ones. I'm guesstimating here, but something like 640 nanometers compared to 720 for regular CD's.
