I just flew the Concorde last month, and it was a pleasant, very fast flight. It is quite amazing at how quickly it shoots straight up as well as when it is time to land, you land, no waiting.
I had a feeling that its days were numbered. Even though we had an uneventful flight, there had just been too many recent incidents, not to mention the plane was pretty much empty.
In any case, I was happy that I could participate in a small slice of history.
