Granted, the acting/direction/writing was horrible, but it did resemble a typical D&D quest. Find the artifact, save the world, etc etc. The CG shots looked more like a scene from Lands of Lore than from a movie (which is a good or bad thing). And dont get me started on the Lich.. (Hey guys, we found this old skeleton in the prop department!)
All in all, it was an OK movie, but nothing to write home about. Some parts made absolutely no sense, and some of the lines were downright LAME.
It seemed like they cut quite a few scenes, so maybe a director's cut would be slightly better.
If you do see the movie, get there in time for the previews. The Mummy Returns looks like a much better movie than the first, and Tomb Raider needs no explanation.
I kinda feel bad for the producers though, it opened against Vertical Limit and Proof of Life.
Ah well, $7 down the drain.
Yes, this is called business. Sigma is out to make a profit, but so are a lot of companies. It would be nice of them to release specs, but at least they're moving in the right direction. Whatever 'future product' they're working on is probably pretty good; my Hollywood Plus is amazing (in windows). When they come out with the new product, sell your H+ on ebay and get more money than you paid for it.
...or Sean Connery.

Also, I bet they'd have a wonderful time rewriting all of slash to use Postgres instead of MySQL.
Taco didn't write it, Nom Anor did :)
Actually, I'm a cash goat. Baaaaa. :)
