I've often wondered how java got such traction among devs.
There's some merit to what you say. As a developer I've found it to be pretty frustrating at times; trying to keep the jvm's classpath strait alone is sometimes challenging with a complex web app. But once you get everything set up and packaged in a war file its pretty cool. The JMS is worth the trouble in my opinion, if your building a distributed app.
Nice. As you said, there's really nothing to see here. But the "maybe you shouldn't have used Java" comment irks me. I for one would like to see Linux gain more traction in UserLand, and comments that blame the user are stupid and short sighted. You know perfectly well that any applications that depend on Java and suddenly break are not the user's fault. I refuse to even entertain the notion that Linux user's everywhere will need to start carefully auditing their apps to make sure those apps tow the line for compatibility. Its hard enough just getting them to use the platform.
If the plane is as advanced as seems to be indicated from the press, seems like some sort of auto-destruct (on any kind of tampering), or as you say, a dead-reckoning system. or something would (should) have been the first ingrediant in this plane. Some kind of mechanism to prevent this sort of thing would have been a priority. Did you guys see the photos? The damn plane is in pristine condition. Perfect for reverse engineering efforts. Kinda dumb, no?
Think of the resolutions the human eye won't be able to distinguish; dots the size of percentage of a human hair to dots the size of potatoes, its all just a blur to our eyes. But hey, who am I to poop on progress on any scale?
Hey, say what you want about fb, this news is a net Good Thing(tm). Its not bad that they add to the community and add something useful. And a JIT for php is a good thing.
I don't use OSX but I'm totally on board with switching Windows to the old classic look whenever I get a new installation. I hit the performance tab in "My Computer" and switch that sucker down to the old, cold, and gray look. Then I go to services and disable the themes service. The windows default theme looks like a clown car.
The thought that the com to the drone is unencrypted is completely plausible according to one article I read a while back (I don't have any refs, sorry), so this is certainly possible.
Do we really need to improve on something that works already? A grep that handles binary formats might be nice, but I think I'd rather see this spun off into some kind of new tool or two, like an "extended" grep and diff, maybe. Maybe they're doing that.
And ya know what? Your myopic focus on imagined foes and monsters from you Id is your business and no one elses. Have fun in your little world, little man.
The ironic part is that you bash MBAs for having MBAs, then praise MBAs for blaming a financial crisis they caused on the black man. You only hate MBAs when they aren't slandering Blacks?
Of course. I have my pick of several strategies and some of them are, say directed towards specific industry sectors, they have a green fund, tech heavy, tech light, quite a number of options. I will say that if I wanted to target a specific company for exclusion I could discuss it with him.
Yes, the manager of my retirement fund absolutely answers to me and if I have input, he listens, and all my coworkers have input as well. We have meetings with these people every other quarter, and I have spoken to this particular manager myself on my own time, after making an appointment with the man. How do you not get this?

ha, pretty good...
Jobs doesn't strike me as a President Merkin Muffley, more like a Johnson or Roosevelt (Teddy, not Frank.)
And you're a rediculously immature little boy looking for attention.
You're funny.

I understand that the camera used to film the sweded version (an iPhone) sold for a whopping $1.98.
Then your guy Obama is was instrumental to denying "niggers" homes.

I what??? You just made me laugh!! What??

B*tch, you classy...
I shouldn't ask this; I'm a little curious to know what the nature of Zuckerberg's private pictures might have been.
Am I missing something here?

running around complaining about MBAs...
Huh? ?? You can't like you weren't around for most of this thread?
Niggers with houses (via your sig) are sufficient for us to see the truth, even if you can't.
What??? Ha ha ha ha.... ok.... crazy kids.
If you say that people with a level of education you don't like are worth less than you, then you are a bigot. I'm not making up anything...
Yeah, actually, you're just makingstuff up. I never said I didn't like anyone. Not even you.
This flaw has been exploited for months by the likes of 4chan.org/b/, and others. I'm surprised it took this long to get out.
Can I get your number?
Bigotry? If I say that red is blue, I must be right? Come on...
