  1. bigger issue on How I Got Locked Out of the Chip Implanted In My Hand (vice.com) · · Score: 1

I see a bigger problem, after a few years of Companies, "chipping" employees, the goverment will come in and have a "free" safety program, where kids and newborns will be chipped,in case of being lost or needing to be id. currently thereare stories being tested .where you just walk in and walk out and NO cashiers. take it one step farther tracking at all stores. right now our smart phones know where we are at all times and some places use that info

i think the plan is to convert to a service, then in a few years, start charging a monthly service fee, if they do it right away, there could be lots of legal problems, but if they "phase" it in less problems

  3. I remember many years ago Microsoft was part of the group promoting JAVA,part of the deal was NOT to create a OS specific version, they wanted to keep it generic to allow it to be able to cross platform the apps. Well Microsoft created J++. which had a lot of Microsoft specific enhancements . They refused to comply with the agreement. they were taken to court. Microsoft lost and were found in violation of the agreement. Microsoft's response was to release a patch to remove Java. I was in It support at the time, I had to go around to 134 machines and install Java(Sun version) .So I can see them taking a slow long time to somehow gain control of Linux.

  8. my friend a hard time convincing the purchasing department that this was for research. I once had to buy a 1 oz bar of gold, we took it and dissolved in HCL to create gold chloride. which was use as a coating in laminated material.so we could xray the item and see the layers where the layers came apart

  9. well you have to be careful, some Items have a clause in them that you only get unlimited use of the item, but it remains the property of the company. so if they want to forbid you from doing self repairs/upgrades/etc they can.

I know of at least one person/company who bought a dozen Play stations and used them as a array processor.

They are just getting lazy on the cgi, I am sure they know that ANY marvel movie will make XXXX dollars. what is not being talked about is full CGI characters, even Hollywood recognizes them and has a term called Syn thespians. One day most likely less than 10-20 years. we will have fully CGI characters. instead of paying a actor 20 million, they can use a cgi for 10. Two movies have touched on this subject.
