The US dept of human services and health is currently delaying the screening of some important pro-breastfeeding ads due to sensitivities raised by the formula industry!
While the US continues to contravene the World Health Organisation code by allowing formula ads in the first place! In virtually *no* other country in the world is infant formula allowed to be advertised due to the demonstrable and well documented risks associated with its promotion. The AAP was strongly in favour of the ads, but after a few private reports from some well heeled interests they seem to have changed their stance!
Why bitch about missing a few items of trash when some gernuinely useful content is being canned?
