  1. Shared source license on Ask Slashdot: Should Commercial Software Prices Be Pegged To a Country's GDP? · · Score: 1

I was trying to start something called Shared Source License, that would protect the publisher from copying while keeping the original authors vested (creative/financial interests) in any forks & vice a versa. However, all my whole code bases was stolen and I'm now looking for psychiatric help to cope with the losses both personal and professional. So tread carefully .... the hit (wo)men walk among us.

  2. Best programming ...early! on US Tech Firms Recruiting High Schoolers (And Younger) · · Score: 1

Some of my best programming was very early on. Scientific concepts are really appealing at an early age and once imbibed stay for a lifetime. Congrats to those making this transition! With knowledge as readily available as it is today, this is truly a welcome change!

  3. Rockstarism is a function of time-place-project on The Truth About Hiring "Rock Star" Developers · · Score: 1

Not all developers can be rock stars all the time. Developer-rockstarism requires a fair bit of ground work ... it's a supersaturated state ...bit of a shake and it's gone! For projects & companies to succeed you need a good balance between the rock stars & others [ well trained, well read, high IQ, high tenacity, high experience, high business, high spirit etc. ] ... If a company lets you pace your self in between these two then you know u are working for a geek-friendly outfit. That's priceless!
