I only wish that vendors adhered more closely to the standards. I always develop code to the latest standards including XHTML and CSS2, but it always seems that some browser or product does not implement the standard correctly. Nonetheless, promoting standards instead of patents is definately the way to go.

The iPod has come a long way since I first got my 5GB iPod a couple years ago.
MySQL is a great database and we currently use it in production for our servers. It has provided some very impressive performance results.
It's come a long way from when I first got my Zaurus SL-5000 a few years ago. Should shape up to a pretty cool product.
