    I, and presumably you, know that blacks are not subhuman. There is no scientific basis for that belief. Therefore he is being hypocritical.

    On the contrary it is definately on topic... In order to discuss whether GPL enforcers are hypocritical one must compare how their actions of enforcing the GPL compare to their actions/beliefs in other areas, such as illegally distributing music.

    You argue that it is not hypocritical to illegally distribute music but support enforcing the GPL. You say this is because the law regarding copyright of music is wrong. Yet you give no proof to back up this statement. Without such proof, your entire argument is baseless and worthless.

    'rpm --nodeps packagename.rpm ' works just fine when you have a library rpm doesn't know about.

    If you have an AGP card, support is pretty good. PCI cards are not supported as well (PI will be writing PCI Gart support for the linux kernel to improve performance for PCI cards). However, Rage128 cards are the least supported of the cards, having the newest drivers.

    Hmmm... I bought XiG's accelerated server for ATI Rage128 cards. Constant lockups anytime I tried to run a GL app. Precision Insight's drivers, however, never gave me that problem.

    But you didn't use the driver they provided... Why? Because it breaks a large amount of legacy stuff. Obviously, then, it's not just the same driver, and therefore you are not legally entitled to it.

    May I suggest you contact nVidia about this? They have been very uncooperative towards Be when it comes to releasing the necessary info to write drivers.
