Seriously though, I'm sure Mr. Perens book is excellent, I have it on order. The other books in his series are excellent.
All in all, these books on Snort should heighten awareness on security matters and hopefully deliver some useful, pratical, and necessary security skills to IT workers in general. It's in everyones best interest; so when you are finished with the book, hand it over to a friend or coworker!
