Ah the memories of buying 3.5 floppies 1 at a time for $8. You had to ask the cashier to give it to you from under the counter at the VA Tech Bookstore circa 1987.
I was using povray in 1991 so I know it's at least 13 years old. The anniversary is for the povray.org domain registration.
The Apple ][ was my first computer and I still have it. It's kind of sad to see them on ebay now for a lousy $26 bucks.
