I use VMware workstation extensively... and HT rocks. Ever have a virtual machine go to 100% CPU utilization, and your machine slow down to a crawl? With the extra 20% of cpu available, you system can still function and be responsive, and allow you to deal with whatever is going on. Or I can run two VMs and get much better performance out of them and the system as a whole.

Something just occured to me about what might hold it back...
I somehow remember s3's video driver quality going down the tubes in a big way towards the (last) end. If they can make a quality product, with quality drivers, and maybe even focus on really great 2d performance, they could be on to something.
S3 hasn't been cool...

...since VESA local bus (VLB) video died.
Now THOSE were the days. Even AMD was really, really cool in a mainstream sort of way - anyone remember the 486DX2-80MHz? Or the 120MHz which was faster than the Pentiums at the time?
A DX4 120 + a fast S3 VLB video kicked serious butt, at least in 2D and text modes.
That's interesting. I was specifically refering to their enterprise product - which is trully awesome (and somewhat expensive.)
I'm such a non-fan of AT&T I would almost blame them for not doing something right. Wouldn't make any sense if the Brightmail ISP product was junk, but their smaller 'enterprise' product is great (it is). So, I dunno.
Part of the reason to toss the name 'brightmail' around is because their product is awesome at stopping spam. The spammer is probably just trying to undermine brightmail's credibility.
