Well, this article is much less interesting than their recent 25 DUMBEST moments. I'd suggest you read that one first, and then read the NES one, which is an entirely fascinating article for someone like me, who is ready to admit that their childhood was closely linked to the history of the NES.
I think that's the book I had that book in history class last semester. The book was good, but the lousy professor would give us these "geography" quizes which were basically randomly picked locations from maps on random pages. Arrgh!
YES! WinMX is far and away the best gnutella client I have used. It's entirely free, no ad or spy crap at all. It's a little flaky sometimes but it's easy to jump on and find songs with. Anyone who uses any form of kazaa is a moron! MORON i say!

Heretic was fun times. Hexen was fantastic too. (although hexen 2 never held my attention past the second level or so) It's too bad noone will ever make a simple fantasy hack'n'slash arcade style game like that again.
