Speaking of ethics, unless a company says we're taking your stats to sell isn't it unethical that they do so? or do they say it somewhere in super small print or in the long as hell agreement that no one reads and just says 'agree' to... if i read every agreement i have agreed to i'd probably start talking like a lawyer.
