"Name one thing in Linux that's taken from Windows?"
Some (all?) of the actual code might not have been taken from Microsoft, but WINE allows Microsoft software to run under Linux. That's one thing that's taken from Windows IMO.

Anyone used one that can give me some thoughts before she starts using it?
I've been using Drive Image 7 for months. I've used both DI and Ghost in the past for years. It's been my experience that DI7 is faster than Ghost, and you can backup right to a CD or DVD from within Windows.
IMO it was the nex logical step. I also initially didn't care for the.NET framework requirement, but haven't noticed any ill effects after installing it, and I'm pretty anal about things like that.

Well, and one has 900% more available high quality, easy to use software for it.
Also, it's not simply the "window" that uses the resources. The biggest resource hog in a browser is the browser, not the container.
