In an effort to cut costs on phone bills, software giant Microsoft has switched to Voice over IP running on Windows 2003 Servers. The switch occured 3 weeks ago.
In other news, Microsoft's Sales and Support lines have been down for 2 1/2 weeks.
At Steve Ballmer's next big speech:
If Microsoft had open source code, anybody would be able to hack into our source tree and create a back door in the Windows OS. But since we are closed source, there are no vulnerabilities!
It's not like anybody who wanted it didn't just download it off Kazaa anyways.
Now, instead of alienating possible users of their software by going after people who download it, they are giving it away for free and are coming off smelling like roses.

If SCO really wants to prove that the Linux kernel copied their code, why don't they release it?
It's not like their going to be releasing private code, since it is already in the linux kernel...
Hell, I could go around saying that the kernel has copied all of my work, but I would never have to prove it either...
