With 802.11, there'll be quite some bandwith available for these cameras to use... so I see no reason why the following feature request(s) (HUGE points on my wishlist as a professional photographer for a long time now) should be hard to implement.
The cameras (after obtaining ip's, dhcp or static) should have a running webserver that streams video of exactly what the camera's lcd would display, A web-lcd per se. There should also be COMPLETE functionality of the ALL the camera's functions tied into controls on the web application. Basically, if you can use a function on the physical interface, it should be available for use over the air as well.
Yanno, I'm *really* tempted to give this a try just so I can make a new version of/usr/bin/uptime by parsing/bin/uname -v and/bin/date output, and calculating the difference:p
Actually, It's refreshing to actually see 'extensive' screenshots of software.. most people do a half-assed job of just a single shot or two. It's nice to see a change IMHO:)
*BSD literature/comparison for Linux admins?

Anyone know of any good literature out there on *BSD written as such that it is geared towards experienced Linux sysadmins? i.e. offering a list of key differences (or similarities) on various levels of system organization, administration, common/best community practicies etc.?
Yep I have a Timex Internet Messenger and get all those annoying articles from Yahoo as well.. it really pisses me off! If any other timex internet messenger owners figure out a way to stop them, please let us know! I'm going to get in contact with timex and/or skytel and see if there's anything they can do about it.
Half a billion dollars for a software project like this? Does this seem unreasonable to anyone else?

Is this too much to ask?
indeed.. GNU stow is an excellent solution for this.

Why would anyone *possibly* want their bootloader be able to compile the kernel?
Or that rat could actually become a *really* bad mouse problem :-p
Why, modify the source to take all those chopped off decimals in my company's financial transactions and deposit them into a private account, duh!
