Ignoring those who cannot apprieciate form and function, I think this is a great looking product. This is what Mac is all about, being different. As for the cost.... It is steep, but it also looks as though alot of time and thought went into its developement... I am sure that as with all things, the price will come down... I would buy one... but my FP iMac sits nicely in our living room atop the stereo... cranking out tunes...
