popular vote doesn't decide the next US president, no matter how uselessly complex the mathematical analysis used. it's a SYMBOLIC VOTE, which is why i don't bother.
it sickens me how few people i've mentioned this to have any clue what the electoral college is or does. 100% of the popular vote could go to one candidate, and still another candidate could win the election. wasting tax dollars re-analyzing a million mis-interpreted "hanging chads" in florida was a shameless red herring.
