    And even that's pretty expensive.

You can get top athletes for like $20,000 a day instead of a baboon on a power trip for $100,000 for 10 minutes.

How lame. I'd never buy anything that works without magic.

I think it's actually you who didn't get my point.

There could be many students, say 20, who wants to find and browse the results. They will give their query to their teacher and he'll send the queries all at once, thus saving a lot of time. Next day everything can be downloaded at once and then you can go offline and then there's no problem with the limited online time.

Also remember that it's most likely that these people are not as fast browsing the Internet as we are. It's not like they're browsing pr0n all day long.

Read the article. It isn't for slow connections in our standards, but for slow connections in developing countries. It really matters if you have several students wanting to get an answer and you only have one computer and maybe the phone line can't be busy all the time.

As far as I recall correctly, in Buddhism they believe that people with good karma respawn as cows in their next life. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I wouldn't call that a good replayability option.

    I guess /. karma doesn't count though.

  8. GameSpot's review all hype, no criticism on Gaming Site Reviews.. Real Life? · · Score: 1

GameSpot missed many negative aspects in Real Life:

I haven't found any save/load functionality yet. Anyone? It can't be just because it's a MMORPG, because I'm often playing in single player mode only. (Not as often as I used to, though, because I got married - a very nice feature btw. At least so far. I hope they didn't screw this one up.)

"generally the game's financial system is well balanced"

Bah! How was it? Richest 5% owns 95% of the World? Or was it something like 1%/99%? Some jobs are VERY overrated. Some software nerd could buy several countries while someone working his ass off on three-shift work gets just about enough to eat.

What about people living in total poverty? The developer doesn't seem to care about characters that can't get a better gaming experience because they are born in a poor area. Talk about balance. Reduce the random factor in character creation NOW!

No legal PvP areas? WTF? Just some fake sport events with huge restrictions.

Real Life is a very good example why game should never be fully controlled by its players. When some caste gets too much power, there's nobody to take it from them (at least not on a short time span).

Finally, who IS the developer? I get different answers from different people. I really need to file a complaint!

I'm having the same problem. There is no info in BitTorrent FAQ about getting more bandwidth later on after using it for a while. And hey, I could upload 25 kB/s even if I have to dl with 2 kB/s if it would help someone, but it doesn't seem to upload more than it's taking down, at least not as much as would be possible.
