  1. Re:Title Inverted on The Making of the South Park WoW Episode · · Score: 1

Yes, since I now know what it was saying I can see why it's acceptable, but it wasn't immediately clear to me (not being someone who plays WoW or watches South Park regularly). I red it as South Park was being used an adjective to describe a WoW Episode.

"the red dog's collar" may mean "the collar belonging to the red dog", or "the collar (which is red) belonging to the dog".

So "the dog's red collar" is more clear.

How about "The Making of the WoW Episode of South Park". That's much less ambiguous. :-P

  2. Title Inverted on The Making of the South Park WoW Episode · · Score: 1

Shouldn't it say "The Making of the WoW South Park Episode"?

I was trying to figure out why they would make a WoW expansion based on South Park.

Nothing in most FPS games, but it's useful in games like Descent.

  4. Space Orb 360 on The World's First 3D Gaming Mouse · · Score: 2, Informative

SpaceOrb 360 is the greatest game controller ever made (IMO, of course). I still have three of them (two for backup). I love it. Especially for games that have multiple walking speeds (push a little bit, move slow, push harder, move fast).

I thought it was the easiest, most obvious game controller I'd ever seen, but a lot of other people couldn't use it. Not saying I'm "better" in any way. I just think that it was made for a certain type of brain, and I've got one.

I hope all three never break. Jay at Birdman's Lair is trying to make his replacement drivers work for Vista.

    I think you missed something:

    From another slashdotter:
    "In 1999,...

    Note the quotation marks.

  6. Re:Third series? on Dr Who Rolls On · · Score: 1

That's an interesting way to put it, but it's wrong. The 2005 series/season has one episode left (in the context of this discussion this is series/season 1). Series/season 2 has been commissioned, will star the new Doctor (the 10th), and hasn't started filming yet.

The BBC just announced they are green lighting a third series/season to air in 2007.

  7. Re:Typo/Doesn't seem so special on Yahoo! Tunes into Blogging and Social Networking · · Score: 1
I think that it should be "Yahoo! tunes into...", unless you're actually talking about a service by Yahoo! called Tunes.
Doesn't "Yahoo! Tunes into Blogging..." follow the standard english article title capitalization?
