Similar thing happened to me when I updated my Nvidia drivers some time ago. Few days later I found this nice post from slashdot.

That could mean if you have a TV encoder that does not support Macrovision, you may well get an error message depending on what DVD software player you are using, the company has said."
So it's not necessarily a SP2 glitch.
I don't know about you, but I hate this invasion of privacy the gouvenment is doing.
I don't know about you but i wonder what kind of problems people have with tapping people with warrant. Specially if tapped person had allready asked undercover fed to send him some kiddie porn.

I dont classify peoples involved on kiddie porn as humans so i wouldnt have any problems with it. I would be more than willing to help on cases like this.

In their website they admit that it can modify data on computer by deleting it. Question is - Is there any other "special ID numbers" which can delete other stuff.
Maybe my DVD-R cant make as good backup if i also backup all the extras from the disc. But as far as i know ppls rarely bother to watch all the extras from the disk. So mostly backing up just the movie will give you acceptable quality of picture.

Only reason that i don't switch to Mac is that I don't want to swap MS's OS monopoly to Apples HW & OS monopoly.
