Surprisingly useful is ~ in command mode. It will change the case of your text. Throw a number in front and that many characters will have their case changed.
For those who feel the benefits of a security question are suspect at best, just use the name of the institution requiring it. Always use upper or lower case and it is not difficult to remember.
If I remember correctly the system doesn't even (appear) to confirm that the phone number is yours. Some industrious fellow could just do all Americans a favor and purchase a phone list of those active numbers not registered and write a script to register the numbers.
Not totally true. Even though you aren't buying RIAA CDs directly, you are "encouraging" other consumers to purchase RIAA CDs. These consumers know that they can always dump their CDs at the used CD stores.
If you don't purchase used RIAA CDs, the used CD stores (and other outlets) would begin to aquire a surplus of these CDs and quit purchasing said CDs.
Ultimately, the only way to kill the sale of RIAA associated CDs is to quite buying them regardless of the source.

Sorry, I already have the IP, copyright, trademark, etc...
What annoys me the most is when copying/pasteing URL's. I'll highlight© a url somewhere then I go and paste it into firefox. Out of habbit I'll go and highlight the current URL and control+v what I assume I'm pasteing... and end up with the same URL that I started with.
