Pointless. Might as well add an indicator to tell me when the conversation is "wireless".
As a fellow Dutchman, I am honestly not surprised they're trying this. And I actually have enough trust in my government that I don't believe they'll abuse this in some scary giant database. For one, they are too inept to keep it a secret. But on the other hand, having the reputation of being inept at anything would be great. What spy wouldn't dream of hearing "Him? He's too dumb to be a spy".
