I'm a female, and I did better in math than my male counterparts. After all, I was one of the few that stuck through differential equations, and managed to be in the top 10 of that class. =)
If someone does say that in general, women are less apt in math and science, why is it a big deal? If you really care, do something to prove them wrong - otherwise it *will* be regarded as a fact.
They say that women are better at multitasking than men are, so why isn't that regarded as sexist?
I don't know why including a HD onto a console is considered "innovative". Frankly, my first gaming platform (my PC) had a HD... and this was 20 years ago! If I remember correctly the usage of the HD isn't anything different from what the PC does...
Making a game where the camera is the input tool - that's innovative. Having a touch screen as an input tool along with the standard buttons - that's innovative. These things change the way we play games.
Doing something the PC has done for years? Bah.
I'm not saying there is no innovation in the Xbox, but I'm tired of hearing how the HD was "innovation."
Agreed.
Once Final Fantasy became so mainstream (right after FF7) the games have really gone downhill. They've lost their charm, hidden in the glitz of beautiful graphics, voices, and cookie-cutter characters. They feel like a showcase for Square to say "Hey look what we can do... oh yeah there's a game in here somewhere too."
I liked the little sprites =(
FF6 and FF4 were by far the best. Not sure why everyone loved FF7 so much, but to each their own....
Maybe they're afraid of the result of comparing apples to apples...
At the very least, they *should* compare Apples to Apples so that perhaps we can see how much of an improvement they've made over their previous work...
Will that be something like having a beach ball at a concert?
