Why? EFI is convient. No more need for an OS write it's bootloader to over the old bootloader. Linux supports it, FreeBSD will support it in a few months.
I'm not sure which class of substances is more addicative. But the ACs said that, "one of the parties is mentally impaired and under duress due to the well-documented effects of drug addiction." That statment could apply to many legal transactions. Even if you could show that alcohol was less addicative, many purchases are still made by addicts hoping not to face reality or withdrawls.
They just copied the things that work, you know like faster handling of javascript, and not taking up half the screen with useless toolbars. They took what worked and put their own spin on it, and it looks very different from chrome. It would be a fine browser if they could squash a few bugs.
Appears that the error doesn't appear in the original. The use of quotation marks would lead one to believe that it's a direct quote, but it looks like it was altered to add the part about South America.
No I tried that. I'm not sure why I'm supposed to care about a browser. Is it like a puppy that will end up euthanized at the city shelter if I abandon it?
And until you sequence the DNA from a dimetrodon, looking at physical features will be the best you can do for the vast majority of species that have ever lived.
Most people involved in an airplane crash survive the accident. If paramedics could find the crash quickly, it's likely more people would survive. So it would make air travel a tiny bit safer.
Somehow I doubt that fear of certain animals are ingrained in our DNA. Certain animals are considered pests or cute based on personal experience and cultural factors. Certainly I consider snakes to be scary, while many people consider them to be good pets.
Chrome/Chromium allows you to create a whitelist of sites that are allowed to use plugins. Flashblock for firefox does the same thing. Since very few ads use the audio or video tags, blocking flash effectively blocks noise.
The classic BIOS is unable to simply load an OS. It has to load a bootloader first. On the other hand EFI can directly load Linux.
Then don't buy the problematic hardware.

They call them channels, not branches.

Flash is no longer required to play video on many websites. Most youtube videos currently play in the html5 player. This is just a step backwards.

You forgot the part where it doesn't completly close and you have to terminate the process before opening a new window. I've switched to QupZilla.
Your thinking of Opera for the olden days.

How do you know the plane is in the ocean? It's certainly possible that it crashed into one of the islands in the area.
why would you think that most people in an airplane crash survive the accident?

See the third defintion.
I need a term that differentiates things like android or my roku box from systems running glibc and X11 or wayland. I think GNU/Linux works for that.
Did anyone claim they where "for the people" or any other such nonsense?

Can't post on HuffingtonPost? Sounds like a great reason not to use facebook.

Blocking flash (or simply not installing it) achieves that goal.
The question is, how will RH help Centos? That isn't very clear from this announcement.
Help them reduce the lag between the time something is released for RHEL and CentOS.
Not to mention being sent to an actual prison.
